Dance Visions is a non-profit community dance project located at Cubberley Community Center in Palo Alto, CA.
It is truly unique. It stands is to provide a unique collaborative partnership of dance artists, educators and related artists working together to promote awareness of art, celebrate cultural diversity and support dance as an art form in the community.
The Dance Visions' Story
For 20+ years the goal of our beloved non-profit has been to offer a collaborative and affordable environment for dancers of all walks of life. Dance Visions founded in Palo Alto in 1992 by Tance Johnshon was mainly a modern dance collective and present day it is a rainbow of styles including: Modern, Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Belly Dance. Dance Visions is a place where artists & the community can take dance classes, teach dance classes, produce choreography and perform it all under one roof.
